ABOUT US :
The U.S.S. Intrepid Association, Inc. is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of twenty one (21) Former USS Intrepid (CV, CVA, CVS-11) Crewmembers (FCMs) 'in good standing' of the Association. The Board Officers were nominated by the Board of Directors from within the Board and those nominees were submitted to the General Membership for ratification at the past National Reunion General Membership Meeting.
The Board of Directors consists of five (5) Officers and sixteen (16) Board Members. Board Officers are comprised of a Association President; a 1st Vice President; a 2nd Vice President; a 3rd Vice President (if deemed necessary by the Board of Directors); a Secretary and a Treasurer.
Board Members attend monthly Board Meetings in the 'Crew's Quarters' of the Intrepid Museum every 3rd Saturday of
every month. Board Meetings are generally 'open' to all FCMs.
The President will be responsible to the membership, at the Bi-Annual Membership Meeting, held at the Bi-Annual National Reunion, the following written Reports in an appropriate format.

SPECIAL Committee Reports.
The President will appoint all Committee Chairmen and Members, who will serve at the President's discretion.
STANDING COMMITTEES :
Standing Committees will be: Membership; Chapters; ByLaws; Reunion; Scholarship; Christmas Party & Public Relations.
SPECIAL COMMITTEES :
Special Committees may be appointed by the President as the need arises.
